Indeed, Apple is the only company to even make it in the top twenty best quarters ever, in a list dominated by oil companies Cupertino appears six times. It is this latest quarter that has smashed records though, with $18 billion made, Apple surpassed the $16 billion made by Russian oil giant Gazprom by $2 billion.
