Apple to Have Huge Christmas
Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have done huge business for the company so far, selling tens of millions of units in the short months since the handsets launched in September. They have smashed sales records and expelled any fears of Cupertino falling behind in China, while they have also found all this success when closest rival Samsung is struggling.

However, as impressive as the iPhone 6 / 6 Plus launch windows has been, it is nothing compared to what the holiday season is going to bring. When the Thanksgiving Holidays kick in at the end of this month and the Christmas Holidays play out in December, the iPhone 6 will have nailed down its dominance as easily the most sought after smartphone on the market. In fact, Apple may not have made enough units.

It is widely thought that Apple prepared 85 million units of the handsets to last from the late September launch to December 31st. However, more than 40 million of those units have gone and even conservative analyst predictions say Apple will sell up to 60 million iPhone units over the busy holiday period. So, either Cupertino built more devices or the iPhone will get scarce this Christmas.

It is thought that through the fourth quarter Apple could sell as many as 75 million units of its all-conquering smartphone. The iPhone 6 is already the best-selling smartphone of the year, something it achieved in less than a month. Indeed, by the end of the year the iPhone would have sold more units than the LG G3, HTC One, Moto X, Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, and the Sony Xperia Z3 combined.
